The UEFA Academy recently revealed the list of participants for its Master in International Players (MIP) program, a postgraduate course designed by the European football governing body. The MIP stands for Executive Master for International Players, emphasizing its focus on equipping former athletes with the skills necessary for executive positions in the football industry.

Greek Footballers Representing in the MIP Cohort

Representing Greece in this elite program are Dimitris Siovas, currently playing for Olympiacos B, and Zeca, who has recently retired from professional football. Additionally, several familiar faces who have previously competed in the Greek Super League are enrolled, including Karim Ansarifard, Bruno Alves, Morgan Schneiderlin, Omar Elabdellaoui, and Alfreð Finnbogason.

International Legends and Their Involvement

The program also boasts participants who have left a significant mark on European football history. Notable names include Ivan Rakitić, former FC Barcelona midfielder; Jan Vertonghen, the Belgian defender with extensive Premier League experience; and Luis Suárez, the prolific Uruguayan striker.

Preparing Football’s Future Leaders
